Davin has had a love for music & communications since the early 80s as a kid growing up on Dublin’s Southside.

His late father Donie Cal, a proud Cork man, introduced him to & bought him Walkie Talkies & CB radios in his teens, which led to mobile DJing & later into clubs. Davin has played in most of the nightclubs in Dublin over the last few decades.

His radio adventures began with school pals at WQXI 91 FM, Dublin South FM, St Vincent’s Hospital Radio, Liberties Local Radio, Capital Radio, Rock 104, KCLR, & Radio Nova.

Davin is a lifetime music fan with a wide musical knowledge & an impressive music collection. He loves direct straight radio presentations twinned with clever production techniques.
