Who is Lar Flynn

Lar Flynn’s passion for radio began as a teenager and has grown into a career spanning more than 25 years in Irish broadcasting. He first became involved with Dublin City FM, one of Ireland’s leading community stations, where he hosted a variety of programmes including a Travel show, an Irish Folk and Ballads show, and both Saturday and Sunday Weekend Breakfast shows.

During that time, Lar also became part of the much-loved Christmas FM, where he continues to present nearly a decade later.

More recently, Lar has brought his energy and experience to Radio Nova with The Friday Night Rock Show, to Classic Hits 80s, and currently to Rewind Radio — each station offering a unique chapter in his broadcasting journey.

Every role has added to his experience, but one thing has remained constant: a genuine love of radio and the connection it creates with listeners.
